The world renowned designer Marc Jacobs is possibly more famous for his fashion designing skills rather than his taste in eau de toilettes for men but when it comes to Marc Jacobs for men, the scent is as unique as the designer’s style and as luscious as can be. With hints of rich spices and figs contained within this rather affordable scent for men, Marc Jacobs has somehow managed to incorporate simplicity with fashion with a smell that is neither obtrusive nor forgettable in a bottle that is both simple yet masculine. With its round edges and rather square look about it, there seems to be nothing rather outstanding about the bottle itself but when you get to the contents within, you realize that the rather dull exterior leads the way for an exciting array of fragrances. With a scent that is exotic but in a very subtle way, you would be forgiven for being put off by the rather interesting ingredients that are listed such as cumin, fig leaves, ginger and cedar wood. However rather than smelling like a rather pungent curry house, Marc Jacobs for men is definitely a male one yet it doesn’t seem to be too overpowering and despite that rather fragrant ingredients, is almost a traditional scent rather than a new and modern one. The smell of Marc Jacobs for men is a sexy one and from a young and single mans perspective, this makes it a winner. However it does not seem to have much in the way of staying power and although it is not one that disappears after just a few minutes, it doesn’t seem to be able to last all day no matter how much you douse yourself in. To generalize Marc Jacobs for men, it is a perfect fragrance to wear in the evening alongside a rather nice and stylish outfit and a gentlemen’s drink rather than a pint with the lads!
