There seems to be rather a predominant hierarchy when it comes to perfumes and this is more so the case for women than it is for men. With women, the more expensive the bottle and the more well known the name, the better but is it actually possible to get away with wearing cheap perfume?
The answer to this question is a resounding yes, but only if you know what to look, or rather keep your nose out for. With the economic crisis looming over us like a big, black, dirty cloud, cheap perfume is the best way to save a few pennies especially when you look at the cost of your average designer perfume these days. Cheap costing perfume very often has a habit of smelling badly but this is not always the case and more often than not, you will find that the nicest cheap perfume is found in the unlikeliest of places.
Your average cheap high street discount shop will generally stock an array of discounted and cut price perfumes, some of which may be replicas or similar to the ones that come with the larger price tags. When having a good sniff around in the bargain bucket perfume selections, try to look for the one with the most citrus aroma. These are perfect for day time wear and tend to fade from a rather pungent smell to a nice “background” sort of smell that is neither overpowering or too much for a nose to take.
It is a very good idea to try out these bottles of cheap perfume when you are not wearing any existing fragrances as these can distort the way the new scents come across and you may end up buying something that smells nice when mixed with another smell but smells ghastly when you are wearing it alone.
There are plenty of ways in which you can get away with wearing cheap perfume and as long as you do not go in the shop with a biased opinion, certain that you are not going to find anything, you will come up trumps!
