Recently there has been a lack of really good new perfumes on the market so it was time to take a look at some of the old classics that have been around for some time. Davidoff Cool Water for her was first released in 1996 and like the name suggests, it is a clear and oceanic perfume that is perfect for daytime use. Being upbeat and fruity, the fragrance itself is not really heavy enough to make it through an evening occasion but for work purposes or other daytime events, this fragrance really stands out above the crowd. The scent is a happy one and it would be virtually impossible not to smile as you spritz this around you and go about your normal day. Davidoff Cool Water is a perfume that is at the lower end of the price ranges for perfumes which is surprising as it is a rather well known brand and one that is actually nice rather than smelling like dishwater. The great value for money when buying this perfume is matched by the fact that a couple of short bursts is all that is needed for you to make it through the day with just an extra burst needed if you are planning on doing something after work. The 30ml bottle that I had lasted for some time, much longer than some of the more expensive perfumes that I have been drawn to. The bottle of Davidoff Cool Water reminded me of the sea. It is a wonderful ocean blue color with no fuss or frills and looks marvelous on my dressing table alongside my other perfumes. It is eye catching without being marvelously over the top and manages to be an outstanding perfume with all its subtlety and simplicity.
