Make your own perfume at home

If you want to beat the credit crunch while still smelling nice then why don’t you try to make your own perfume at home? The good news is that this perfume can be used anywhere and not just on your body, you could use it to make your home smell nice, your linen smell fresh and even to get rid of those bad odors from the car! Why not try and save yourself a few pennies and make these fresh and fragrant delights at home with the help of a few homemade perfume recipes?
Rose water is a lovely smell and can be used to make any home or person smell as fresh as a…well, rose! Rose essential oils are needed for this and if you are planning to actually wear the perfume yourself, make sure that you use oils that are suitable to be used on the skin. Blend this in with a couple of cups of distilled water and just two tablespoons of glycerin and then pour into a bottle that can be sprayed. You can pick all of these ingredients up for practically next to nothing and you can use your homemade perfumes as gifts if you wish.
If you want more a flavorsome perfume then why not try and make your very own citrus eau de toilette? You can use practically any oils you like with this, as long as they are suitable for the skin of course and the fresh fruity citrus burst is bound to liven up any day. Use vodka and the oils of choice to blend and then leave in a sealed bottle for around a month and you will have your very own citrus perfume. If there is any sediment, you can sieve the mixture and then wear as you wish!
