Christina Aguilera is just another of the famous names in show business that has decided to release their own brand of perfumes and although it is just another perfume, most of the Christina Aguilera perfume series are quite nice.
The first perfume that she ever released was simply self titled as Christina Aguilera. There were no gimmicks, no silly names just simplicity. Just in case there were a few misconceptions about this perfume, perhaps due to the “Dirrty” video and her whole dress sense and style at that time, the perfume was labeled as sophisticated and glamorous with the right hint of sex appeal.
Blackcurrant tea and jasmine were some of the main aromas within the fragrance and the blend of undertones made the perfume a delightful one to wear. Jasmine is present in many perfumes that are on the market today but the blackcurrant tea within it gave it a little kick that made it stand out above the rest especially the Britney Spears range of perfumes.
The Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera rivalry has been going on for some time now with them both in the Mickey Mouse Club and then in the pop charts, and now it would seem that they are continuing on the rivalry which has become somewhat of a gimmick is now present in the perfume ranges that they are releasing, each releasing another new one practically every season.
Christina Aguilera perfume is one that has the slightest point above the Spears one however with the fact that the bottles are very simple, the name is very simple and the whole packaging is feminine and attractive without being too girly. At the end of the day it is mainly down to personal preference on look and smell.
