When you first come across Burberry Weekend perfume for ladies the first thing that you will notice is the simple but effective packaging. A pale yellow box with the name Burberry in white written across it makes it one of the most simple of all perfume boxes and when you get into the packaging and to the bottle, the same simplicity greets you. Almost dome shaped but with a relatively flat bottom, it has frosted glass which makes it perfect for when you need to know when to buy another bottle, and that you certainly will!
The price of this perfume is great value for money and matching this is the fact that the perfume lasts for a long time after you have sprayed it on. It is not the longest lasting perfume in the world but compared to some other fragrances that are currently on the market, it certainly does better than some! You may need to have an extra quick burst of fragrance towards the end of the day if you wish to go out after work and other such occasions but generally it doesn’t do too badly.
The perfume itself is actually a clean and crisp perfume but despite this, it does not smell clinical like other perfumes that have been described as “clean” have been. Although it is a fairly light perfume that does not overpower either the wearer or those around them, it is still a rather distinct smell and once you have smelt it once you are guaranteed to remember it again.
To summarize Burberry Weekend, it can be said that this is a great value for money perfume that smells very clean and refreshing. Perhaps better suited to the lower age range of the market, it has a feminine scent about it that works great as a daytime perfume.
